Loading the Memory Card
Although you can store pictures in the camera's internal
memory, you can store many more images on the
Memory Card (sold separately). You can use the xD-
Picture Card
and the SD Memory Card with the FinePix
S81 OOfd. In this Basic Manual, these cards are expressed
as "Memory Card".
SC Memory Cards/SCHC Memory Cards
They are operation-checked at FUJIFILM Corporation.

movies may be interrupted.
Use of above mentioned SO Memory Cards are
recommended.
• The camera is not compatible with multimedia cards.

Open the slot cover.

CAUTION
Do not open the slot cover while the camera is on. This
could damage the Memory Card or ruin the image files on
the Memory Card.

Insert a Memory Card.
(xC-Picture Card)
Align the gold marking with the gold contact area,
then insert an
xC-Picture Card
completely.
(SO Memory Card)

then insert an SO Memory Card completely.
