NOTE: Where the exhaust duct passes through a wall, ceiling, or roof made of combustible materials, the opening must be 2-inches larger (all the way around) than the duct. The duct must be centered within this opening. To protect the outside end of the horizontal duct work from the weather, a 90º elbow bent downward should be installed where the exhaust exits the building.

2. Grounding A ground (earth) connection must be provided and installed in accordance with state and local codes. In the absence of these codes, grounding must conform to applicable requirements of the National Electric Code ANSI/NFPA NO. 70-LATEST EDITION, or in CANADA, the Canadian Electrical Codes Parts 1 & 2 CSA C22.1-1990 or LATEST EDITION.

Providing local codes permit, power to the dryer can be made by use of a flexible U.L. listed power cord/pigtail (wire size must conform to the rating of the dryer), or the dryer can be hard wired directly to the service breaker panel.

The dryer must be connected to the type of heat/gas indicated on the dryer data label. If this information does not agree with the type of gas available, DO NOT operate the dryer. Contact the distributor who sold the dryer or the ADC factory. IMPORTANT: Any burner changes or conversions must be made by a qualified professional.
