Ensure the pcswer cnrd is cannected.
Check connections to speakers and &her eyuipmenl.
Turn on the speakers.
Turn off the tape manilor.
e Select the correct source.
Change the DPWJ7' setting to suit 'Ihe type of conneclion ynu

made.
Check Ihat the digit;d signals can he decoded by this unii.
Turn PC&I FIX or DTS FIX off.
Switch off Ihe rrnil, cleierrnine ;$nd carrecl
the
cause, then swi'rch the unit orl.
Causes incluck?:
----Shnriing (bare: wires touching) af positive and negative speaker wires.
-Using speakers with an impedance lower than "ctia'r r;.&d for tliis unit.
-Siraining af the speakers through excessive volume or power.
-Using the unit in a hut e~lvirenm~?n~ wifhout propel venlilalion.
@Turn
the
urtil off, disconnect the AC power supply cord, and corrsull yrsur
dealer.

Turn off nearby televisiorl s, vidcn decks, L9VD players, anti satellile receivers.
Separate
the
antenna from other cables, leads, anhl appliances.
