-You are responsible for presenting your engine to a service dealer or warranty station authorized by ROBIN AMERICA Inc. 940 Lively Blvd., Wood Dale, IL 60191 (herein ROBIN AMERICA) as soon as a problem exists. The warranty repairs should be completed in a reasonable amount of time, not to exceed 30 days. - Page 6 H. PARTS COVERED UNDER THE CALIFORNIA EMISSIONS When warranty repair is needed, the engine must be brought to an authorized service dealer or warranty station’s place of business during WARRANTY normal business hours. FOREWORD Thank you very much for purchasing a ROBIN GENERATOR. This manual covers operation and maintenance of the ROBIN GENERATOR. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the proper operation and maintenance procedures in order to maximize the safe and efficient use of this product. -

1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Please make sure you review each precaution carefully. Pay special attention to statement preceded by the following words. “WARNING” indicates a strong possibility of severe personal injury or loss WARNING of life if instructions are not followed. “CAUTION”... - Page 9 WARNING Do not operate in rain, in wet or damp conditions, or with wet hands. 4. CHECK GENERATOR SURROUNDINGS. CAUTION WARNING Do not connect defective appliances including lines and plugs. Make sure you review each warning in order to prevent fire hazard. Be sure appliances are not connected to generator when starting up. 6. SPARK ARRESTER In a dry or wooded area, it is recommendable to use the prodoct with a spark arrester. Some areas require the use of a spark arrester. Please check your local laws and regulations before operating your prodoct. The spark arrester must be cleaned regularly to keep it functioning as designed. -

7. MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE MAINTENANCE, REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR OF THE EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES AND SYSTEMS MAY BE PERFORMED BY ANY NONROAD ENGINE REPAIR ESTABLISHMENT OR INDIVIDUAL. When generator engine fails to start after several attempts, or if no electricity is available at the output socket, check the following chart. If your generator still fails to start or generate electricity, contact your nearest Robin dealer or service shop for further information or corrective procedures.
