Overview Use the LongSpan Medium-Range 900-MHz Omniirectional 5-dBi Antenna with the LongSpan 900-MHz WIreless Ethernet Extenders to provide medium-distance wireless Ethernet connections. This 5-dBi antenna extends distances up to 2 miles (0.9 kg), near-line-of-sight up to 6 walls/500 feet (156 m), and line-of-sight up to 2 miles (0.9 kg).

  • Page 11 Chapter 3: Alignment Guidelines 3.2 Transmitter to Receiver Placement If radios are installed either indoors or outdoors at distances closer than recom- mended, antennas can overpower each other and cause undesired effects. If testing radios within one or two feet, remove both antennas. The radios will still be able to signal each other at close distances.
