    Connections AM-FM Antenna Connections Connect the supplied FM/AM antennas for listening to the radio. Connect the AM loop antenna to the AM antenna terminals. Connect he FM wire antenna to the FM antenna terminals. otes To prevent noise pickup, keep the AM loop antenna away from the DVD/CD receiver and other components. Be sure to fully extend the FM wire antenna.

    Connections (Cont’d) Assembling the Front Speaker The front speakers are detached from the speaker stands. Connect the speaker cords and assemble the front speakers to the speaker stands as illustrated. How to connect the front speakers When you do not use the stand Connect the speaker cords to the appropriate terminals on the bottom face of each front and rear speaker.

Therefore, discs may contain Parental Control information that applies to the complete disc or to certain scenes on the disc. These scenes are rated from 1 to 8, and alternatively, more suitable scenes are available for selection on some discs.

    Audio CD and MP3/WMA Disc Operation Playing an Audio CD or MP3/WMA Discs The DVD/CD receiver can play MP3/WMA formatted recordings on CD-ROM, CD-R, or CD-RW discs. Before playing MP3/WMA recordings, read the notes on MP3/WMA Recordings on right. Insert a disc and close the tray. Audio CD: Audio CD menu appears on the TV screen go to step 4.

    Radio Operation Presetting Radio stations You can preset 30 stations for FM and AM (MW). Before tuning, make sure that you have turned down the vol- ume. Use BAND on the remote control to access FM or AM (MW) in the display window. Thereafter, each time you press BAND, FM and AM (MW) change alternately.
