Remote control options
Pairing your remote control with a receiver
Your remote control and receiver are paired at the factory. If you are experiencing issues or replace either
component, follow these steps to pair the remote control and receiver:
Turn on your
Chromebox.
Replacing remote control battery
1. Place a small flat head screwdriver in the slot
of the battery compartment and slowly lift the
screwdriver toward the front of the remote control
(away from the keyboard).
3. Align the battery holder with the battery
compartment and firmly push into place. The
battery holder should not stick out from the
remote control.

Plug the receiver in
an open USB port on
the Chromebox.
Hold the remote control
unit within 12 inches of
the receiver.
2. The battery holder will pop-out just enough
to easily extract the holder with fingers.
Remove the depleted battery from the
battery holder.
CR2032
4. Replace with a new CR2032 battery. Negative
(-) side of the battery will be up. There is only
one way for the battery to easily fit into the
battery holder.
Press and hold the
select button (center
button) for 10 seconds.
