    ® FLASHBAKE / MICROWAVE OVEN REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF PARTS Remove screw and shield. WARNING: DUE TO HIGH VOLTAGE, SPECIAL CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN MEASURING AROUND THE MAGNETRON. Remove "MAIN COVER.” Discharge high voltage capacitor by shorting the terminals of the high voltage capacitor with an insulated handled screwdriver or insulated jumper wire.

CAUTION: When reassembling, be certain all plugs are correctly mated. If plug is colored, connect it to same color connector on board. Failure to connect correctly will result in damage to unit.

Disconnect choke filter from magnetron terminals (Model FBMW3). Disconnect wire leads from thermal disk. NOTE: If magnetron is being replaced, remove screw securing disk bracket and lay bracket with disk aside.

WARNING: DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE MACHINE AT THE MAIN CIRCUIT BOX. PLACE A TAG ON THE CIRCUIT BOX INDICATING THE CIRCUIT IS BEING SERVICED.

    ® FLASHBAKE / MICROWAVE OVEN REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT OF PARTS Pry duct up and twist thermal cut out to line up REAR DISK terminals with cutout in duct and slide it out. Remove "VENT FAN.” Remove screw securing shield and remove shield.

    ® FLASHBAKE / MICROWAVE OVEN TROUBLESHOOTING TROUBLESHOOTING DIAGNOSING NON OPERATING UNIT A non operating unit is better defined as a unit that appears to have no power to it (no clock display, cavity lamp or keypad responses). The following components and associated wiring should be checked in the order below when diagnosing a non operating unit.

    ® FLASHBAKE / MICROWAVE OVEN TROUBLESHOOTING FAULT CODES The control board monitors various operations and can detect certain failure modes. In the event of specific failures, cooking will be terminated, a four-beep signal will be heard, and a fault code will be displayed. Pressing the CLEAR pad will remove the fault code display, unless the failure is a shorted keypanel switch.
