It works when the monitor is connected to a DDC ready computer that is running an operating system software that is capable for the plug & play. When a Plug and Play PC is powered on, it sends a command to the Monitor requesting identification.

ANTENNA Unless your LCD Rear PTV is connected to a cable TV system or to a centralized antenna system, a good outdoor TV antenna is recommended for best performance. However, if you are located in an exceptionally good signal area that is free from interference and multiple image ghosts, an indoor antenna may be sufficient.

Hook-up Cables and Connectors Most video/audio connections between components can be made with shielded video and audio cables that have phono connectors. For best performance, video cables should use 75-Ohm coaxial shielded wire. Cables can be purchased from most stores that sell audio/video products.

For this reason, we suggest the use of a set-top-box for HDTV and SDTV adjustments.
