Using the Cassette Player

Radio Intercept and CD Intercept (Intercept)

7 Radio Intercept ("RADIO I" indicator lights)
This function allows you to listen to the radio during tape fast-forwarding/rewinding.
7 CD Intercept ("CD I" indicator lights)
This function only works when an optional Multi-CD player is used with this product.
This function allows you to listen to the CD during tape fast-forwarding/rewinding.
Note:
• The radio intercept and CD intercept functions do not work during a Music Search operation.
1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the Radio/CD Intercept switching
mode (Intercept) in the Function Menu.
2. Select the desired intercept mode
with the 2/3 buttons.
Intercept OFF (Intercept OFF)
Ô Radio Intercept (Radio Intercept)
Ô CD Intercept (CD Intercept)*
* "CD Intercept" is not displayed and you
cannot select CD Intercept mode, when
an optional Multi-CD player is not
connected to this product.

Dolby B NR (Dolby B NR)

Switch to the Dolby B NR on ("Dolby B NR" indicator lights) when listening to a cassette
recorded with Dolby B NR.
1. Press the FUNCTION button and select the Dolby B NR mode (Dolby B
NR) in the Function Menu.
2. Switch the Dolby B NR
ON/OFF with the 2/3 but-
tons.
