Installing memory

Your computer has two connectors for installing DIMMs that provides up to a
maximum of 4.0 GB of system memory.
When installing memory modules, the following rules apply:
v Use 1.8 V, 240-pin DDR2 SDRAM.
v Use 256 MB, 512 MB, 1.0 GB or 2.0 GB memory modules in any combinatio up
To install a memory module:
1. Removing the cover. See "Removing the cover" on page 20.
2. Locate the memory connectors. See "Identifying parts on the system board" on
