TROUBLES AND CAUSES (Concerning Remote Control)

Before you ask for servicing or repairs, check the following points.

Causes
• Check whether the timer operation
has come to an end when the OFF
TIMER is indicated on the display.
• Check whether the timer operation
has started when the ON TIMER is
indicated on the display.

The Signal Receiving Tone Does Not Sound
Causes
• Check whether the signal trans-
mitter of the remote control is
properly directed to the receiver of
the indoor unit when the START/
STOP button is pushed.
When the automatic mode is
selected, the air conditioner
automatically selects the fan speed.
When dry operation is selected, the
: DRY". air conditioner automatically selects
the fan speed. The fan speed can
be selected during "
" FAN ONLY".
The temperature cannot be set
: FAN ONLY". during fan only operation.
The air conditioner stops since the
setting time elapsed.
When the time reaches the setting
time for the ON timer operation, the
air conditioner starts to operate
automatically and the ON timer
display goes off.
Direct the signal transmitter of the
remote control to the receiver of the
