Caution: Hot Surfaces
• The exterior surfaces of the microwave oven, including the air vents on the cabinet housing and the oven door, will get hot during grilling
and combination settings. Please take care when opening and closing the door to insert or remove food and accessories. During and after
using the grilling and combination functions the interior roof and walls of the microwave will be extremely hot. Take care not to touch
these surfaces and wear oven gloves whenever necessary.
• Please ensure children are kept away from the microwave oven at all times and that they do not touch the hot housing cabinet during or
after operation of the microwave.
To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:
• Do not overcook food.
• Do not leave the microwave oven unattended while you are using it and if using paper or plastic containers check regularly to ensure they
do not ignite.
• Remove wire twist-ties from bags before putting the bag in the oven.
• If materials inside the oven smoke or catch fire, keep the oven door closed to stifle the flames, turn the oven off at the wall switch, or shut
the power off at the fuse or circuit-breaker panel.
Cleaning
• Ensure that the inside of the microwave, door assembly, under the turntable and the waveguide cover are cleaned regularly. Food
splatters, spills should be immediately wiped off. Mild detergent may be used for tough marks, but harsh abrasive detergents and
commercial oven cleaners should not be used. If grease is not cleaned up it may start to 'smoke' during use.
• Failure to maintain the microwave in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of surfaces which will damage and affect the life of the
appliance and could cause a safety hazard.
