X8DTN+ User's Manual
Clear User Password (Available only if User Password has been set)
This item allows you to clear a user password after it has been entered.
Password Check
Select Setup for the system to check for a password at Setup. Select Always for the
system to check for a password at bootup. The options are Setup and Always.
Boot Sector Virus Protection
When Enabled, the AMI BIOS displays a warning when any program (or virus) is-
sues a Disk Format command or attempts to write to the boot sector of the hard
disk drive. The options are Enabled and Disabled.

Use this feature to confi gure boot settings.
Boot Device Priority
This feature allows the user to specify the sequence of priority for the Boot Device.
The settings are available boot devices and Disabled.
1st Boot Device - [1st Floppy Drive]/2nd Boot Device - [CD/DVD]/3rd Boot Drive
[Hard Drive]/4th Boot Drive [USB: PepperC Virtual]/5th Boot Drive [Network]
Removable Drives
This feature allows the user to specify the boot sequence from available Removable
Drives. The settings are 1st boot device, 2nd boot device, and Disabled.
