- Page 10 Operating Principles The dispense valve assembly delivers precision temperature water at selected temperatures. When hot water is drawn from the faucet, the fill valve pulses on and off every few seconds to replenish the tank. By controlling the flow of incoming water, the amount of cold water entering the tank is synchronized with the rate at which the water can be heated.
