I n s e r t i n g a n d R e m o v i n g t h e B a t t e r i e s This camera uses a two-way power supply, alkaline batteries and a USB cable that connects to your computer.
Battery Display Refer to the following table: Battery Icon Meaning The outer frame of the Battery icon indicates the status of the lithium coin battery. The outer frame will blink if there is no lithium coin battery inserted or the coin battery has low power. The outer frame will not blink if there is a new coin battery installed.

Camera Setup and Operation Taking Pictures Follow these instructions to take a picture with your iQuest Roam camera: 1. Press the Power Button to turn on the camera. When the Standby LED stops flashing, the camera is ready to take a picture. 2.

Setting the Self-timer The Self-timer enables you to include yourself in the picture. Follow these instructions to use the self-timer: 1. Press the Mode Button and scroll through the modes until you reach the Self-timer Mode. 2. Use the Up and Down Buttons to alternate between the On and Off setting. 3.
Deleting and Managing Images Type Meaning Allows you to delete the last image taken. Allows you to delete all the images in the memory. Allows you transfer the images from the internal memory to the CompactFlash card. Allows you to format the CompactFlash card. To delete pictures, follow these instructions: 1.
Follow these instructions to install the iQuest Roam driver and application software on your system. Installing the SiPix iQuest TWAIN Driver 1. Insert the iQuest Roam software CD into your CD-ROM drive. The following screen appears: Note: If the screen doesn’t appear, click Start, and then click Run.

You should reboot your computer before using the camera. Now that you have installed the driver, skip ahead to “Making Connections” to ensure your camera and computer are working together properly.
Installing Odyssey Multimedia Gallery 1. Go back to the SiPix install screen and choose Install Odyssey Multimedia Gallery. Note: If the screen doesn’t appear, click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type “D:\Setup.exe” where D is the letter of your CD-ROM drive. Then click OK to open the screen.

Making Connections Connecting to your PC Note: Ensure that you have installed the iQuest Roam TWAIN driver before connecting to your PC. Use the supplied USB cable to connect your iQuest Roam to your PC.
Downloading images to your PC Note: Ensure that you have installed your MGI PhotoSuite III SE software or another TWAIN-compliant software application before downloading images. Transferring images from your camera to the computer is accomplished via the TWAIN driver. In fact, the TWAIN driver is useful for a number of things. Follow these instructions to use the included software to download pictures: 1.

4. Under Choose a Camera select the “SiPix iQuest Roam TWAIN.” 5. Name your images in the name prefix text box. Numbers will automatically be added to the end of the name you enter here. 6. Choose if you want the images to open for editing in MGI PhotoSuite III SE.
