About the PL filter window

The bayonet-type hood included with the lenses below has a PL filter window which
facilitates the manipulation of the circular polarizing filter.
- DA 55mm f/1.4 SDM
- DA 16-50mm f/2.8ED AL [IF] SDM
- DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL WR
- DA 60-250mm f/4ED [IF] SDM
- DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8ED
- DA 300mm f/4ED [IF] SDM
CAUTION
The PL filter window cap of the DA
with the hood attached to the lens. Remove the hood from the lens to attach first, and
then remove the window cap.
