FuEL-FILLER DOOR RELEAsE

The fuel-filler door must be opened from inside the vehicle
by pulling up on the fuel-filler door opener. The opener is
located on the floor at the lower front side of the driver's seat.

CHILD-PROTECTOR REAR DOOR LOCK

To engage the child-protector feature so that the
door cannot be opened from the inside, move the
child-protector lever, located on the rear edge of
the door, to the "LOCK" position and close the
door. Move the lever to the "UNLOCK" position
when normal door operation is
desired. To open the door from
the outside, pull the outside
door handle.

FOLDING THE REAR sEAT

To fold down the rear seatback:
1. Set the front seatback to the
upright position and, if necessary,
slide the front seat forward.
2. Lower the rear headrests to the
lowest position.
3. Pull out the seatback locking knob
located in the trunk.
4. Fold the seat toward the front
of the vehicle.
5. To prevent the center shoulder belt from
being trapped under the seat, insert
the belt webbing into the right side rear
shoulder belt guide.
6. When returning the seatback to its
upright position, always be sure it has
locked into position by pushing on the
top of the seatback. Be careful not to
damage the seat belt webbing or buckle.
