PRE-OPERATION CHECKS

STEERING SYSTEM

Check the steering system for exces-
sive freeplay by:
moving the steering wheel up and
l
down, and back and forth.
turning the steering wheel slightly
l
to the right and left.
Y-932e If you feel excessive freeplay, or
hear rattling sounds which may indi-
cate loose steering components,
consult a Yamaha dealer.
REVERSE ALARM
Check the reverse alarm by moving
the drive select lever to "R" for
reverse. The alarm should sound.

PEDAL OPERATION

Check the following pedal controls
for proper operation. If a pedal does
not work properly, consult a Yamaha
dealer.
Accelerator Pedal
With the main switch in the "OFF"
position, make sure the accelerator
pedal operates smoothly.
