Unpacking

The KIVOR INDEX is supplied with the following accessories:
mains lead
CD ROM containing LINNTEK PC Setup/Control Utility and owner's manual
RJ-11 modem cable
adapter for modem cable
warranty card
4 x rack mounting screw
Getting Started guide
We recommend that you retain all packaging in case you need to transport the unit at
a later date.

Voltage selection

The KIVOR INDEX contains an automatic internal mains voltage switch. This switch
operates on all worldwide mains voltages from 100V to 240V. Manual adjustment on
the product for setting the input mains voltage is not possible.
This unit must be earthed. Use the earthed moulded mains lead supplied.
Never use an unearthed plug or adaptor.

Positioning

Allow at least 10 cm/4" of space to the rear, sides and above the KIVOR INDEX.
The unit has been designed to fit into a 48 cm/19" rack.

Cleaning

Disconnect the KIVOR INDEX from the power supply before cleaning. Remove dust and
fingerprints with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using domestic cleaning products on the unit.
Be careful not to spray any cleaning products into the disc slot on the front panel.
