TALKBACK

External Talkback

The External Talkback XLR socket on the rearcon is a line-level input.
Its gain can be trimmed via the Level parameter on the External Talkback screen on the touchscreen.
The signal can be routed to the headphones by selecting the Route to headphones parameter on the
External Talkback screen.
The signal can be routed to the monitor outputs by selecting the Route to monitors parameter on the
External Talkback screen.

Internal Talkback

The signal feed is via the mic-level XLR on the rearcon. It has a phantom power switch next to the XLR. The
switch is accessible via a small hole.
The signal level can be adjusted using the TALKBACK LEVEL control on the front panel, and the signal is
enabled via the TALKBACK ON button on the front panel.
The signal can be routed to the TALKBACK OUT socket on the rearcon by selecting the Route to external
parameter on the Internal Talkback screen.
The signal can be routed to the headphones by selecting the Route to headphones parameter on the
Internal Talkback screen. The level of the talkback mic signal routed to the headphones can be controlled by
the TB headphone level parameter on the Internal Talkback screen.
Talkback To Busses
If the Talkback On button is active, and an output bus solo is pressed, the internal talkback signal will be
routed to the soloed output bus.
