Installing the Batteries

Power supply
1. Batteries
AAA alkaline batteries (supplied)
Rechargeable AAA nickel-hydrogen batteries (sold separately)
Inserting the AAA batteries
Close the lens cover.

Open the battery cover by sliding it in the direction of
the
arrow.

Insert the 2 AAA batteries with the poles aligned with
the indications (+/-) inside the battery compartment.
Caution
Inserting batteries with the poles oriented incorrectly can cause battery
fluid leakage and generation of heat that can result in personal injury as
well as soiling, and/or damage to the camera.

After checking that the batteries have been installed
correctly, close the battery cover. Check to make
sure that the cover is completely closed.

• Remaining battery level is indicated in two steps by
