Removing the Heatsink

Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2.
Remove the:
a. battery
b. base cover
c. system fan
3.
Un-route the WLAN antenna cables from their channels on the system board.
4.
Loosen the captive screws that secure the heatsink to the computer and remove the heatsink from
the computer.
