3. Perform the following steps to remove the fingerprint reader:
a. Remove the screws that secure the fingerprint reader cover. [1]
b. Lift the cover and remove it to expose the fingerprint reader board underneath. [2]
c. Disconnect the fingerprint reader cable by lifting the release tab upwards. [3,4]
d. Lift and remove the fingerprint reader board from the computer. [5]

1. Align the fingerprint reader board into its position on the computer and install the fingerprint reader
board connector.
2. Place the metal cover on top of the fingerprint reader board and install the screws that secure it.
3. Install:
a. ExpressCard
b. bottom cover
c. hard drive
d. battery
