Quick Start
Read these instructions before using your product.
Charge your product
Before using your product for the first time, make sure the
battery is fully charged. Charging takes approximately 1.5 to
2.5 hours. A full charge lasts about 36 hours.
Caution: Do not attach the charging cradle when the PS-100 is
wet. If the PS-100 is wet, wipe it with a damp cloth, remove the
moisture with a towel, then let it air dry before attaching the
charging cradle.
1. Center the PS-100 under the large tab, then press down
until it clicks into place.
2. Insert the USB plug into a power source. You can use:
Computer (USB is for charging only, not for data
transfer)
Optional USB AC Adapter (part number SFAC04)
The orange LED lights up when your PS-100 is connected
correctly. Charging is complete when the blue LED is lit.

To remove your PS-100 from the charging cradle, press the
small tab down and push the PS-100 out from the back.

Launch the app and pair your
PS-100
You must pair your PS-100 through the Epson PULSENSE
View app. The PS-100 will not store any data until you've
paired it with the app.
Follow these steps:
1. Start the Epson PULSENSE View app.
2. Make sure that the PS-100 is within 3 feet (1 meter) of the
mobile device.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions to pair your PS-100
with your mobile device and perform the initial
configuration.
The PS-100 can store up to 480 hours of data before needing
to be synced.
App icon Meaning
No network connection. Make sure you have a
network or data connection, then tap the icon to
reconnect.
No Bluetooth connection. Make sure Bluetooth is
enabled on your product and mobile device, then tap
the icon to reconnect.
LED status
The LEDs on the PS-100 light up or flash to indicate different
states. When exercising, the LEDs indicate which zone you're
currently in. The PS-100 vibrates when entering or leaving a
zone.
Light pattern
Wearing your PS-100
Follow these steps to adjust the wristband:
1. Unfasten the buckle of the wristband.
2. Unhook the band and adjust it to fit your wrist.
Keep these tips in mind when wearing your PS-100:
The Pulsense band needs to be worn snugly around the
wrist to collect more accurate heart rate data. This may
cause a slight impression on the wrist. Adjust the band for
the comfort and performance you choose.
When wearing the PS-100, make sure it does not touch
the ulna bone.

For greater accuracy, wear the Pulsense band on your
non-dominant wrist.
Before boarding an aircraft, put your PS-100 in airplane
mode by repeatedly tapping the top of the band.
Calibrating your heart rate
To personalize your heart rate zones and calibrate the sleep
monitoring feature, wear your PS-100 for 2 to 7 days while
you sleep. The accuracy of your heart rate zone and sleep data
will improve after the PS-100 has calibrated your resting heart
rate.
