3.14 Handset settings

3.14.1 Setting the ringer tone

1. Press MENU then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select
2. Press SELECT then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select
3. Press SELECT then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select your desired ringer
tone (10 melodies are available for home line calls and 5 standard and 5
polyphonic melodies are available for cellular calls).
4. Press SELECT to confirm. The screen will display "SAVED" with a
confirmation tone.
NOTE
The ringtone will be played when browsing the volume.

3.14.2 Setting the ringer volume

1. Press MENU then VOL+ or REDIAL/VOL- to select

A single beep is emitted when you press a key. You can turn the key tone on or
off. You can also turn on the alert tones when low battery and out of range are
detected. A low battery tone will also be emitted while you are talking on the
phone to alert you that you need to charge up your batteries.
