FIRST, set the dial between
"MEDIUM" and "LOW". This
will be the correct setting for
the majority of rug thicknesses.
F o r d e e p p i l e c a r p e t s , s h a g
rugs, cotton rugs, or lightweight
throw rugs, move the lever to-
ward "LOW' 9 if the cleaner does
not push easily.
For low pile, sculptured, or
m u l t i - l e v e l r u g s , -it m a y b e
necessary to move the lever to-
ward "HIGH' 9.
