Recording preparation is required.
TWIN RECORDING Function
This is the function for simultaneous recording from CD to MD and tape. All tracks of a CD are recorded in the sequence on
the CD.
For recording to tape, please read "Let's record" in the operation manual of the cassette deck X-H9 (option) carefully.
1 Confirm that the "PGM" indicator is
not lit.
2 Select the target disc.

3 Press the TWIN REC key.
1. When the TWIN REC key is pressed while the CD player is playing, the playback will be stopped and CCRS setting (edit recording preparation)
will begin.

2. The automatic setting of the recording level for edit recording uses the portions of the set CD suitable for setting the recording level.
3. If the deck is set for one-side recording("), the processing at the tape end is applied only to side A.

÷ The recording level will be adjusted automatically in approx.
60 seconds (variable depending on CD contents), after which
recording starts.
÷ Measures are taken automatically so that no track is inter-
rupted at the tape reversal. Short soundless portions may be
inserted between the tracks on the MD because of this pro-
cessing.
To Interrupt a Recording
Recording and playback are stopped when the 7 key of
the CD player is pressed.
