    Setting the configuration of the speaker system A full surround speaker system is supplied with the NV-701, and the factory settings have been set up according to the specifications of the supplied speakers. However, if you do not connect all the speakers or use different speakers, change the settings as needed to ensure the best possible surround sound for your system.

    The DTS multichannel audio format is available on selected CD, LD, and DVD software. DTS is a strictly digital format. The NV-701 incorporates a DTS decoder for playback of DTS CDs in this unit's CD player or for DVDs or LDs played on connected components.

    Timer recording : Records the TUNER input (NV-301 only) or the TUNER or selected VIDEO input (NV-701 only) during a set time range. Auto Power Save When the power is ON and neither recording nor playback is executed for 30 minutes or more, the power is switched to standby mode automatically by this function.
