Troubleshooting
Please follow these steps if you're having problems accessing BBC iPlayer on freesat.
Your Sagem freesat receiver will first need to be connected to the internet.
Step 1|
Go to BBC One (channel 101)
Press the red button
Does the BBCi red button menu appear? Yes: Enter 5483 and OK to initialise BBC
iPlayer connection. Select BBC iPlayer from the menu. If it doesn't start within two
minutes, please go to Step 3. No: Please go to Step 2.
Step 2|
Press the menu button
Access the 'setup' menu
Carry out "freesat tune"
Try Step 1 again. If BBC iPlayer doesn't start within two minutes, please go to Step 3.
Step 3|
If you are connecting with an Ethernet cable
Check the cable is intact and in good repair
Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the freesat box and the router, and then
reconnect both ends
If you are connecting with the Homeplug Adapters
Check the green lights on both plugs. The lights should be working as follows:
Power symbol – solid green
Powerline symbol – blinking green
Ethernet symbol – blinking green
If the lights are different to the above try the following:
Using a different plug socket for each Homeplug Adapter
Try disconnecting and reconnecting each Ethernet cable
Once the lights are displaying correctly try loading BBC iPlayer again.
