IMPORTANT:
For best cleaning results
use a steady, forward and backward
motion. Wet cleaning should be done at
half the speed of dry vacuuming. For
heavily soiled areas, repeat if necessary.
BEFORE CLEANING:
• Vacuum carpet thoroughly with a regular
vacuum cleaner.
Remove as much furniture
from the
room as possible. If unable to remove
the furniture,
place plastic or foil under
and around the legs until the carpet has
dried completely.
Check for color fastness.
Dampen a
white cloth with solution. Test a small
area in an inconspicuous place. Gently
rub the cloth over the area. Check each
color for bleeding. If the cloth remains
clean, it should be safe to shampoo the
carpet.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure to use the green
carpet nozzle and Kenmore ® Carpet &
Upholstery Concentrate Cleaner when
operating as a carpet shampooer.
See
page 10 for instructions
on changing
nozzles.
CAUTION:
Do not use the cleaner to dry
vacuum carpets; this could damage
