CARE. AND CLEANING OF INTERIOR TRIM

Many>cleaners may be poisonous or flammable, and their
improper use may cause perlionalinjuryor darnagethe inside of the
vehicle. Theref()re, when cleaning the .inside. of the vehicle, do not use
volatile cleaning solvents such as: acetone, . lacquer thinners, enamel
reducers, nail polish removers; or such

materials as laundry
soaps, bleaches or reducing agents. except as noted in the fabric
cleaninlt adviCe on stain removal that follows.
Never usecarborftetracflloride, gasoline or. naptha for any cleaning
purpose.
CAUTION:
Qecausefumesaremore dangerous ina small space, be
sure the vehicle is well. ventilated while using· any cleaning agent.
Follow the manufacturer's advice in using such products.
NOTICE:
To avoid possibl.e permanent discoloration onWhite or light
cOlored seat trim, DO NOT let materials. with unstable dyes come in
contact with seat trim materials until totally dry. {This would include
certain ·tYPes of casual' clothing, such as colored denims, corduroys,
leathers and suedes;also decorative paper, etc.)
""ith the advent of modern trim materials, it is VERY IMPORTANT
that proper cll;laningtechniques al'ldcleaners be used. Failure to do
this. on the first cleaning may result in water spots, spot rings, or
setting of stail'lsor SOilage, all of Which make it mOfe difficult to
remove in a second cleaning.

Dust and loose dirt that accumulate on interior fabrics should be
removed often with a vacuum cleaner or soft brush. Vinyl ot leather
trim should be wiped regularly with a clean damp cloth.
