14. Front Rail
(Time required : About 15 minutes)
14-1 Turn over the top board assembly toward the front.
(See procedure 1)
14-2 Remove the floppy disk drive assembly.
(See procedure 2)
14-3 Remove the speaker box assembly R.
(See procedure 8)
14-4 Remove the side cover assembly L. (See procedure 11)
14-5 Remove the side cover assembly R. (See procedure 12)
14-6 Spread a soft cloth or the like in advance so that the top
board assembly can be placed on it.
14-7 Return the top board assembly toward the rear. (Fig. 9)
14-8 Remove the eight (8) screws marked [140D]. The front
rail can then be removed. (Fig. 8)
15. Jack Assembly, Mic Jack Assembly
(Time required : About 8 minutes)
15-1 Turn over the top board assembly toward the front.
(See procedure 1)
15-2 Remove the side cover assembly L. (See procedure 11)
15-3 Remove the four (4) screws marked [50A] and the two
(2) screws marked [70]. The jack assembly can then be
removed. (Fig. 10)
15-4 Remove the input volume knob.
15-5 Remove the two (2) screws marked [90A] and the screw
marked [50B]. The mic jack assembly can then be
removed. (Fig. 10)
