Basic
• To avoid picture noise, we recommend
decreasing the ISO sensitivity, setting
[NOISE REDUCTION] in [PICT.ADJ.] to
[HIGH] or setting every item except
[NOISE REDUCTION] to [LOW]. (P85).
(ISO sensitivity is set to [AUTO] when the
camera is shipped. Therefore, when
taking pictures indoors etc. the ISO
sensitivity increases.)
∫ Programme shift
In programme AE mode, you can change
the preset aperture value and shutter
speed without changing the exposure. This
is called programme shift.
You can make the background more blurred
by decreasing the aperture value or record
a moving subject more dynamically by
slowing the shutter speed when taking a
picture in programme AE mode.
• Press the shutter button halfway and then
use the joystick to activate programme
shift while the aperture value and the
shutter speed are displayed on the screen
(about 10 seconds).
