Paper f ilters cannotbecleaned andshouldbe replaced every100operatinghours;
moreoftenif usedin extremely dustyconditions.
Remove t hefoampre-filterfrom around the paperairfilter. SeeFigure
16.Replace p aperelementwhendirty or damaged. C lean foamelement o r
replace whendamaged.
Neverusegasolineor low flash point solventsfor cleaningthe air filter
element.A fire or explosioncould result.
IMPORTAfl# Never runtheengine withouttheairfilter.Rapid e ngine wear w ill
