5.2.5 Faulty auto cutter

Phenomenon Cause

Cause
Replace the thermal head
assembly and check if
operation is normal. Confirm
that the ERROR lamp lights
when there is no recording
paper.

Check if foreign matter is
adhering to sensor.

Check the connected
condition of the connector.
Check if designated power
supply is used.
Use a tester or an
oscilloscope to measure
supplied voltage.

Repair Method
