7.1.3 ERROR MEESAGE "CHECK TEMP"
If recording is operated on PDR-F10 at high or low temperature atmosphere, a message "CHECK TEMP" is displayed the operation
halts.
This message is displayed to indicate clearly the problem that would probably happen to recording and playback operation if the
product is placed on a heating object like an amplifier or in a closed space like a rack in which heating object such as an amplifier
causes utmost high temperature, and then if the product is moved into different atmosphere then the problem disappears. The
temperature sensor which is placed inside of the product becomes +70Åé or higher or -15Åé or lower, the message is displayed.
Once this is displayed, all the actions stop. In addition, the product itself has its own temperature rise, outside product threshold
temperature would be a little lower. And these temperatures are not the specification values that guarantee the operation.
7.1.4 CD-R DISC MANUFACTURER CODE
PDR-F10 has a function to investigate "Manufacturer Code" of CD-R disc. By referring "Lead-in Start Time", which is displayed
when the following procedure is performed, to the following table the manufacture becomes clear, judgement whether this is a
checked disc or not becomes possible. Remind that in case of CD-R discs label indication is sometimes different from
manufacturer's name. By this operation you can announce more exact unchecked disc to your customer. It is worth using.
*Operation procedure
(1) Insert the disc to be investigate the manufacture.
(2) While pushing "MENU/DELETE" key, press "INPUT SELECTOR" key.
(3) Check that DISPLAY indicates "PEC*********" (RID).
(4) Press "INPUT SELECTOR" key for 14 times.
(5) Check that DISPLAY indicates "LIA 97:**:**"
(6) Refer this value to the following table.
(7) Press "STOP" key to end
