*2 For controlling KV-C1007 through KD-AV7001, this connection is only required. For other connections,
refer to the manual supplied for KD-AV7001.
*3 Reset the unit after installation is finished by pressing in with a ball-point pen or a similar tool.
Typical Connections
Before connecting:
• Check the wiring in the vehicle carefully. Incorrect connection may cause serious damage to
the unit.

Connect the colored leads of the power cord in the order specified in the illustration below.

Finally connect the wiring harness to the unit.

power cannot be turned on.

To a live terminal in the fuse block connecting to the car battery (bypassing the ignition switch)

To the remote control lead of JVC FM modulator KS-IF200 (for details, refer to the Instructions of KS-IF200).
