Possible cause
Piercing unit / T DISC holder is
not properly inserted.
The T DISC is not inserted
properly.
The brewing unit is not properly
closed.
The T DISC is damaged or
leaky.
The piercing unit is either
not inserted or not inserted
properly.
Water from condensation.
The Service T DISC must al­
ways be used for cleaning and
descaling processes.
The loat in the water tank is
stuck.
There is a fault on the machine. Turn the machine off using

Solution
Insert the T DISC holder and
piercing unit properly.
Re­insert the T DISC and make
sure it is properly positioned.
Push the clamp down irmly
until it audibly clicks into place.
Stop the brewing process, re­
move the T DISC and clean the
brewing unit.
Check to ensure that the pierc­
ing unit is inserted properly.
Condensation may occur and
is not a fault. Remove it by wip­
ing with a cloth.
Look for the Service T DISC in
the storage compartment at the
back of the appliance.
The Service T DISC can be
obtained from the Bosch
customer service department
(article no. 611632, for contact
details, see page 154).
Clean the water tank and en­
sure that the loat can move.
