Sound system

Aerial
For versions/markets, where provided, the
antenna can be integrated into the heated
rear window or located on the roof of the
car.
Remember to remove the
aerial from the roof when
washing the car at auto-
matic car-wash to avoid damages.

Speakers
The sound system is formed of a system
comprising:
– 2 tweeters (A - fig. 19) with 30W
power
– 4 speakers (B - fig. 19) and (A -
fig. 20) with a diameter of 165 mm (2
front and 2 rear) with 40W power.
Protection fuse
The radio has a 10A fuse located in the
rear part of the set. To replace the fuse, the
radio needs to be pulled out: therefore con-
tact Alfa Romeo Authorised Services.

HI-FI BOSE
SOUND SYSTEM

The HI-FI BOSE system has been accurately
designed for the Alfa 156, to offer out-
standing sound quality and reproduce the
musical realism of a live concert, for all the
seats in the passenger compartment.
The system's features include outstanding
faithful reproduction of crystalline treble
tones and full, rich basses which among oth-
er things, make the Loudness function su-
perfluous. In addition, the complete range
of the sounds is reproduced in the whole pas-
senger compartment enveloping the occu-
pants with the natural spatial sensation that
is felt when listening to live music.
The components adopted are patented and
are the result of the most sophisticated tech-

nology, but at the same time they are easy
and intuitive to use, so that even less expert
people can use the system.
