USB Interfaces P1680
One USB channel is available at the front panel. It is a mini USB-A type. For
connection of standard size USB-A connectors please use the suitable adaptor
cable YLU015MB from GE Intelligent Platforms.

Connectors P1680 provide VCC voltage (+5 V). The total current drawn from
this source must not exceed 0.5 A otherwise the board will do a power on reset.
This may also happen when inserting an USB device which incorporates some
larger capacitor to the supply voltage (i.e. some USB hubs). It is not an ESD
issue, but only related to the short current pulse, which is limited to uncritical
values.
Serial Interfaces P1682
One RS232 serial channel is available at the front panel. It is a mini USB-B
type connector. For connection of standard female DSUB9 connectors please
use the suitable adaptor cable YLU050MD from GE Intelligent Platforms.
