Connect Media Center to Display with
both MonitorLink™ cables.

Insert Remote Control batteries.
Connect TV signal sources: cable wall outlet,

HD cable box, HD satellite box, and/or antennas.

Remove the cover from
the back of the remote
control and insert two
AA batteries, making
sure the (-) and (+)
polarities are correct.
For best results, insert
the negative (-) side first.

LCD Flat Panel HDTV
To operate as a complete HDTV, the display
must be connected to the media center
using both required MonitorLink™ cables.
Verify that

the remote control.
The connections shown in steps 3 and 4 represent a typical
setup. If your equipment is different, see instructions on
connecting TV signal sources in Chapter 2 of the Owner's
Guide.

1 HD Cable or HD Satellite
Box as TV signal source:
Connect the 3 Component
(YPbPr) video cables and L/R
audio cables to COMP 2 on
the media center.
2 TV Antenna or cable
direct from wall outlet as
TV signal source: Connect
the RF cable to ANT-1.
3 CableCARD™ as TV
signal source: Insert cable
card into the CableCARD™
slot and connect cable
from wall outlet to ANT-1.
CableCARD™ must be
supported by cable provider.
