Contect with Intel WiDi Step 1 Turn on your HDTV and select the correct HDMI source input. Turn on the GWAVR; it will automatically load in the Intel WiDi mode and will be ready for connection. - Page 9 Step 2 Turn on your laptop and launch the Intel WiDi application. Connect with Miracast Step 1 Turn on your HDTV and select the correct HDMI source input. Advanced Settings: Step 1 To change the advanced settings on the GWAVR, you will need to connect to the GWAVR by using your smartphone, laptop or tablet wireless connection. Page 25: How To Upgrade The Firmware For Gwavr
Copy the two files to an empty USB flash drive. Do not change the name of the files. 3. Connect GWAVR to your HDTV via an HDMI cable and turn on the TV. Make sure to have the correct HDMI input selected to display the GWAVR. - Page 26 6. Keep holding down the Mode button until the message “Please wait for USB update” is displayed on screen. 7. Insert the USB flash drive containing the two disc image files. The firmware upgrade process requires two updates (one for each file on the flash drive). Do not remove the flash drive until instructed.
- Page 27 10. After the installation is completed, GWAVR will reboot. DO NOT remove the USB flash drive. 11. The firmware is successfully installed once the GWAVR reboots and displays the Intel WiDi splash screen. The USB flash drive can now be removed.
