10-3. How to cancel the Errors "20", "21" and "64"

These errors indicate that the disc is not being moved normally. As the errors cannot be canceled by turning the power off and
then on again, please contact your dealer or local JVC-authorized service agent in order to restore normal operation.
How to restart
CAUTION
First remove the jammed tray or media, otherwise the media may be damaged during subsequent operations.
1.
Turn off the Power.
2.
Open the door, remove the side and center panels.
3.
Remove the disc or tray from inside the carrier.
UP/DOWN rotary sensor does not change
Left slit sensor does not change
Right slit sensor does not change
UP/DOWN motor does not function
UP/DOWN motor drive short-circuits and over-current is detected
UP/DOWN operation exceeds the predetermined duration
Lower limit sensor turn on during UP/DOWN operation
Tray lock release not possible
Tray lock impossible, or lane change not possible
Tray lock does not exist at the initial position during carrier movement
Catcher (right → left) movement operation exceeds the predetermined duration
Catcher (left → right) movement operation exceeds the predetermined duration
Catcher (right → left) convergence operation exceeds the predetermined duration
Catcher (left → right) convergence operation exceeds the predetermined duration
Catcher (right → left) tray rotary sensor does not change
Catcher (left → right) tray rotary sensor does not change
Right catcher sensor does not turn on
Left catcher sensor does not turn on
Catcher motor (right → left) does not function
Catcher motor (left → right) does not function
Tray does not exist

Magazine insertion incomplete, or sensor defective
Over-current is detected during catcher motor operation
Destination-unknown tray exists on the carrier
No disc in the tray
Flip tray does not exist
During the flip raise operation, the expected time required is over
During the flip descent operation, the expected time required is over
Mail Slot ejecting is not possible
Mail Slot loading is not possible
Destination-unknown tray exists in the Mail Slot
Destination-unknown tray exists in the Drive and the control cable of the Drive is disconnected.
Tray removal is not possible at the drive position
Disc clamp of the drive does not function
Drive ejection is not possible
Failure to remove the disc from the drive
Spindle motor fails to stop (Ejection inhibited status)

Replace the panels and close the door. Then turn on
the power while holding down the "0" key on the control
panel.
