The following instructions will assist you with configuring your BlackBerry
smartphone's data services, including
aNd WEb broWSiNg.
You may need the following information from your email
provider: Domain, Server type, Account Name, Incoming mail server, SSL connection
requirements, and Outgoing mail server (SMTP) to complete the setup.
If your company has standardized on communication and collaboration server-side
software such as
microSoft ExchaNgE, lotUS domiNo
configure the BlackBerry smartphone to use an optional BlackBerry
(software upgrade required). The BlackBerry Enterprise Server has many advantages over
the BlackBerry
Internet Service including over-the-air (OTA) wireless synchronization.

That way, your email, calendar, tasks, and notes will synchronize wirelessly without need
for the USB cable.
If your company is using Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino or Novell GroupWise, please contact your IT
