Problem
The following
appears at the
end of the
programme:
Clean heat
exchanger
Clean out
airways
Drain fault
Programme
cannot be
changed
Progr. end
delayed
Possible cause
The dryer is reminding you
that heat exchanger unit
needs cleaning.
You can adjust the setting
which controls when or if
the message Clean heat
exchanger appears.
The dryer is not working
efficiently or economically.
Possible causes: A
build-up of fluff or
detergent residues.
The drain hose is kinked.
An attempt has been made
to alter a programme while
it is in progress.
This is not a fault.
Problem solving guide
Remedy
– Clean the heat exchanger.
To delete the fault message:
– Confirm with OK .
See "Settings menu J, Cleaning
the heat exchanger".
– Cleaning the fluff filters is usually
all that is required.
However, if the Clean out
airways message does not go
out after you have cleaned the
filters, then also check all the
possible causes described
under "The drying process goes
on too long or even switches
off".
To delete the fault message:
– Confirm with OK .
You can adjust the setting which
controls when or if the message
Clean out airways appears.
– See "Settings menu J, Clean the
airways".
– Remove the kink.
To delete the fault message:
– Confirm with OK .
– You will need to cancel the
current programme before you
can select a new one.
In the period between selecting
Delay start and the programme
starting, the settings were changed
or there was a power cut.
