The owner must properly maintain the
coolant to prevent freezing, overheating'
and co[osion.

CAUTION:
*
Use only low'minerdl drinking watet or
distilled water as part of the antilreeze
solution. Water that is high in nineral
content or sdlt may be harmful to the
aluminum englne.
The factory provides a 50/50 solution of
antifreeze and water in
the
GLl100
INTERSTATE.
This coolant solution is lecommended tbr
most operating tenperaturcs and provides
good
corrosion
protection.
A
higher
concentration
of antifreeze decrcases tne
cooling.system pedormance and is recom-
4 0
mended only when additional protection
against freezing is needed. A concentratlon
of less than 40/60 (40% antifreeze) will not
provide ptoper corrosion protection. Dur-
ing
freezing
temperatures,
check
the
cooling system frequently and add higher
concentrations
of
antifrceze
(up
to
a
maximum
of 60% antifteeze) if requtued.
