TROUBLESHOOTING
THE FOLLOWING MAY HELP AVOID A DELAY IN YOUR WORK OR SAVE THE

ENGINE
FAILS
TO
START
OR STARTS
WITH
DIFFICULTY
CAUSE
REMEDY
Controls
not
in start position.
Move ENGINE CONTROL or equipment
control
to "HI" or START position.

Spark plug wire disconnected
from
spark plug.
Connect
spark
plug wire to spark
plug.
Spark
plug
fouled.
Remove
spark
plug and
clean.

Replace spark
plug.
Insufficient fuel.
Fill

tank
