    Operation Loading Pellets Lift the hopper lid to its vertical position. Pour pellets into the hopper until full. NOTE: The hopper holds approximately 55 pounds of pellets. WARNING: The front edge of the hopper lid becomes very hot, do not touch the area below the handle.
