    6. For AUDI vehicles only: For some AUDI headunits an additional part or harness modification is required in order to gain the access to the CD changer port. The 8-pin CD changer port on such stereos is occupied by a solid 20-pin connector. Please contact NEO Car Audio to get a special harness to retain factory connections 7.
  • Page 5 In some Toyota/Lexus/Scion and Honda/Acura vehicles the CD changer port is occupied with a factory harness (such as NAV or audio harness). The NEO package for Toyota/Lexus or Honda/Acura includes a Y shaped vehicle cable. In order to connect the interfaces properly please follow to the scheme below. If the car has no NAV or XM leave the female end of the Toyota or Honda (HON1) harness open.
  • Page 6 Chapter 2.2. - Volvo 01-06 using VOL01 harness and Posi-Taps Picture 1: VOL01 vehicle specific harness Preparation It is recommended to disconnect the car battery before performing the installation. Turn off the car engine and remove the key from the ignition. Carefully remove the radio from the dash.
  • Page 7 Locate the yellow wire marked as 12V on the VOL01 harness (picture1). Using blue colored Posi-Tap clip provided with your package, connect the constant POWER wire that comes from the main stereo harness (picture 2) to the yellow 12V wire on your VOL01 harness.
  • Page 8 If you have any problems with using Posi-Taps please contact Neo Car Audio tech support at 619- 704-0690. Locate black ground wire on VOL01 harness, secure wire to radio / chassis ground. Find a safe accessible place to secure the module.
  • Page 9 Fast Forward When pressed, the iPod will start moving quickly through the current track. Fast Reverse When pressed, the iPod will start rewinding the current track. Play/Pause When the stereo is turned to the CD changer mode, the iPod will automatically start playing. Turning the stereo off or switching to another source (FM, AM, etc.) will cause the iPod to pause the current track.
  • Page 10 3.7 Using EXT1 for AUX-IN on your NEO 3V9 adapter You can connect any alternative audio sources such as MP3 player, DVD, GPS, XM and etc. to the Neo Car Audio adapter via Mini Din to RCA and 3.5mm phone jack cable (must be purchased separately, is not included in the basic package).
